Washington, D.C. — The Place Where Freedom Goes To Die

It’s way past time for a nonpartisan, grassroots fellowship of law-abiding citizens to arise in defense of our freedom.  To restore the rule of law and the founding principle of limited, consensual government, its members must find imaginative ways–large or small, substantive or symbolic–to throw sand into the gears of what has become a finely-tuned, liberty-grinding machine in Washington, D.C.

During my lifetime of nearly 70 years, I have seen the Constitution fraudulently transformed from a security pact among the states into an instrument of surrender to the federal government.  To my shame, I remained silent as our nation’s capital became a burial ground where freedom goes to die.  Spineless submission is no longer an option for me.

Only we the people–not corrupt, career politicians, not politicized lawyers posing as impartial judges, not social-engineering bureaucrats obsessed with controlling the lives of others–can guarantee America’s survival as (in the words of Ronald Reagan) “a nation that has a government, not the other way around.”  It CAN be done.  The time is now.  Let’s roll!
